Please join the Mid-South Emergency Planning Coalition and partners at Robert Church Park, 187 S. 4th St. Memphis, TN 38103, as we showcase the Mid-South Emergency Planning Coalition’s new Mobile Field Hospital. This event will take place on Wednesday, July 17th 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. The Mid-South Emergency Planning Coalition in partnership with The Memphis Fire Department is hosting the 40 bed mobile field hospital that will be on display at Robert Church Park. This hospital will ensure that any event in the six county region that the Coalition represents, Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, and Lauderdale counties in Tennessee; Crittenden County, Arkansas; and DeSoto County, Mississippi, will have adequate medical coverage to assist with treating and triaging patients during disasters or sudden mass casualty events. A big thank you goes to the Jackson Madison County Regional Health Department who have been mentors in this project. They will also be onsite with their own mobile field hospital. When combined, the agencies will be able to field and staff an 84 bed mobile hospital. We would love to see you come out and support.
