  3. Identify a plan to implement at least one AI tool or resource in their own teaching setting (clinical or pre-clinical) within the next three months, considering ethical implications and maintaining human interaction.

Strategies to Engage Learners Through Simulation and Effective Methods to Maintain Psychological Safety

  1. Describe the concept of psychological safety, its importance in healthcare simulation, and strategies to create and maintain a psychologically safe learning environment for all learners.
  2. Explain and implement effective pre-briefing sessions that set clear expectations, create a supportive atmosphere, and prepare learners mentally and emotionally for the simulation experience.
  3. Identify and apply various motivational strategies to engage learners actively during healthcare simulations.

Teaching on the Fly: The Art of On-the-Spot Instruction

  1. Describe the advantages of adapting instruction in real-time, such as increased engagement, flexibility, and responsiveness to students’ needs.
  2. Identify a framework to quickly assess and respond to students’ needs and interests during a lesson.

  4. Describe a teaching experience for what worked well and what could be improved and use this analysis to enhance future experiences.
